On 3rd of March at 19 Kærshovedgård Contact Network are hosting an info meeting at Super. Its for anyone curious about joining the network or learning more about Kærshovedgård and the Danish asylum system. The Contact Network is a small association that fights to counteract this dehumanisation. Both one-on-one through contact persons, but also politically by drawing attention to the conditions in the camp. *Dance workshop* Ecstatic interactive pole dancing combines ecstatic dance, pole dancing, contact improve, along with many venacular partner dance techniques (e.g: salsa, lindy hop, tango, bzouk, kizomba) to improvisationally interact with each other (in a lead and follow fashion) to all kinds of dancable music (the kinda music that make us want to dance!!!). More about the dance workshop: This is a NOT a tradional partner dancing workshop. The intention of the workshop is for the participants to be able to dance with each other improvisationally in a lead or follower fashion to music that they already like to dance to by themselves. The workshop is for people who already like dancing to music by themselves, and want to learn some techniqus to improvisational interact with one another on the dance floor to anykind of danceable music. Of course, if the participants had experience in one or more partner dancing before it will be more familar. We will however NOT emphasize too much on dance steps. Rather we will be focusing on creating connections between the partners and how to improvise to music based on that connection. The dance very much celebrats the essence of venacular partner dance, expression of musicality via body movements and the raw creative dance energy of rave, after hour club scene and festivals. Hey everyone❤️ a little Super info incoming: Here at Super we want to try out new opening hours, where every week won't necessarily look the same. Because Super has always been a 100% volunteer driven space, the level of energy and initiative here varies due to all the different people that are facilitating our space. Even though it is a joyful experience to keep Super running, it is also hard work to facilitate a space like Super. To minimize stress and the sometimes overwhelming and frustrating part of the experience, we want to try out a more dynamic schedule. The opening hours will from now on look like this: 🐸The opening hours Monday to Thursday can vary every week. and we will keep you updated regularly during the week. 🐦Friday and Saturday the opening hours will be 12 - 00 (and later if we have night events ;) ) Everyday that we are open, we will tell you here on Instagram, and in general try to be a bit more visible for you in this virtual space🌐. We hope that this change will generate more energy to create workshops, get-togethers, parties and in general pleasant times. On the occasion of Århus being full of beautiful people enjoying the last weeks of Summer, we are throwing a rather spontaneous club night this Friday. The concept is “Local Party”, meaning that: the lineup will include DJs fresh out the DJ-school, the tickets will cost just 20 kr, and the main purpose will be to have a good time with whoever is around - before school starts and the sun is replaced by clouds (though that wouldnt be so bad by now) - Presale only at Super - so make sure to stop by to get your ticket!
